For tomorrow's show we're going to talk about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and especially Nagasaki. I'll read some primary sources on the air, for example an excerpt from Harry Truman's diary and the text of an announcement he made on the radio at the time. We may not side very strongly on either side of the question, but we welcome your opinions whether you think the bombings were justified or not. 530.792.1648

I have thought about this a lot and I think that they were not justified. I also wonder if the US warned Japan at all about what they intended to do if they did not surrender.
